What is the meaning of life...?

Well I think that its to be happy. To some that may be oversimplistic, but I think it answers the question adequately. The inquirer wants a better answer expecting me to know what it is that they are suppose to do. To that, the next step in my answer would be whats makes you happy? And there is your answer. Whether its residing in a capitalistic society or roaming the open wilderness, do what u gotta do.

Ahh, but you're answering what the purpose of life is, not what it means.
Well, I think i can argue that its the same thing. Maybe you're question is why are we here, why are we alive? And my answer is the same to be happy.

In life there are infinite uncertainties, injustices, and mysteries....but one thing i do know is that life is not meaningless...There are more meanings in the unseen strands of our DNA then all the unknowns of the universe....so to take anything in life for granted....as a mere occurrence of randomness is foolish...and to accredit the struggles and triumphs in our lives to destiny or fate is jeopardizing...because if u wait for destiny...opportunity and life will pass u by...
